Q&A With Lauren Grace Lifestyle

What does a typical day in the life of you look like?
No two days are the same for me I am always doing something different. Whether it's shooting streetstyle contet, rushing around to events and meetings or sat in the office for an admin day. On a more 'routine' day I like to start off with a workout, walk the dog and a morning at my desk doing things like contracts, invoicing, emails, shoot plans, updating social plans for my clients, followed by a shoot either at home or on location, there is nothing that gets me excited more than fresh content.
How did your social media career start?
It started as a hobby while at college posting my outfits and general life pics (what I ate, my friends etc) this then became a little more serious at Uni when I had my blog I bought a camera and did more styled shoots with my boyfriend at the weekend, until my third year where I began going on shoots with brands and getting gifted a lot of pieces. Which of course by the time I graduated I was earning money from my blog and Instagram and had set up my content creation business Monday The Studio.
Tell us about Monday The Studio? How did it all begin?
Monday is my little baby. I started working freelance for a few marketing companies and brands and decided that I wanted to put this into action and have my own branded business. I discovered I could do what I did for myself for other people and brands that didn't know what to do. I have always loved photography, writing, graphics etc.. so it just all fell into place. I essentially made the job for myself and I am loving it!
Who is your style icon?
My style has evolved a lot in the past few years, my current icons are Rosie HW, of course, The Olsen Twins. My Instagram obsessions are @anoukyve @hannahcrosskey @jessicaskye @chloeplumstead @monikh
Describe your style in 3 words?
Classic. Tailored. Relaxed.
Your fave account to follow on Instagram?
My most searched account is @cerealmag - so inspiring and I am always in awe of all the imagery.
What is your fave 4th & Reckless item and how do you style it?
I am obsessed with my Walker Boots in black patent croc. I love styling them with a silk skirt / dress layered with a turtle neck knit and maybe a blazer and coat if it's super cold - I love layering!
What is next for Lauren Grace Lifestyle?
I am really pushing my blog content over on laurengrace.co.uk and I have so many ideas for new content and imagery styles. I feel in the last few weeks I have found an aesthetic that is so me and I am really loving it!
