Oscars 2020: Red Carpet Round Up

It’s that time of year again! We were straight on Instagram this morning to have a peak at all the Oscar’s look fresh from the red carpet. It’s fair to say it was a mixed bag this year, but we’ve picked out some of our favourite looks from the evening.

You guessed it…of course Rosie was our number one choice. We’re loving the simplicity of her all black gown with off the shoulder detailing. The pop of red lipstick and statement diamond earrings do the talking with this look. She really can’t do wrong in our eyes…

Kylie and Kim attended the infamous Vanity Fair party post Oscar’s to show off their custom gowns. Both sisters looked stunning with flawless glam and their figure hugging dresses. If we had to choose, we’ve picked Kylie as our favourite out of the duo – look at that silhouette!

Emily Ratajkowski’s look was a love or hate affair. We’ve seen mixed opinions about her two piece at the Vanity Fair party, with many not sure about the low rise skirt. The team at 4th are split over this one…We’re loving the minimal vibe and we definitely can’t fault her glam for the evening. (If we had those abs we'd probably show them off too).

We have to say we were swooning over these sequinned and embellished gowns. It's not usually our style...but in nude tones and clever use of layering we thought these were some stand out pieces.

After sifting through all the attendees we’ve picked out a few of our favourite looks (aside from the obvious choice of Rosie). We’re obsessing over Hailey’s all black dress with mesh detailing, not to mention that daring side split! We're loving the lace cami dress with layering - it's giving us some inspo for our next collection...

Next up is Camilla Morone in her simple yet sleek nude gown. It’s kind of giving us prom vibes, but also we’re kind of loving it. We love the boning in the bodice to add some extra structure to the look.

Charlize Theron looked beautiful in her simple black gown with asymmetric shoulder. This Christian Dior dress shows how sometimes less CAN be more.

We have to admit Renee looked great in her chic one shoulder white sequinned dress…it’s reminding us of a few pieces we’ve designed recently in the studio.

One of the crowd pleasers we noticed was definitely Scarlett Johansson in this sculpted bodice with pointed neckline. We’ve not seen anything similar to this before which must be why it seems to be one of the favourites for the night!

All in all we loved flicking through all the images from the Oscars this morning over our cups of tea. Which was your favourite look? Let us know and tag us at @4thandreckless.
